seeing the numbers motivates me...

i think i've figured out that for me, knowing how many calories i burned, is important. not because i am trying to reach a specific number, but knowing that i burned ONLY 350 calories and it took me two hours to do it, prevents me from eating bad. all in all i spend about two hours exercising each day. not that a actually exercised for two hours, but by the time you get dressed and drive to the gym and all the other stuff that goes along with it, i am spending a lot of time exercising. so to me, taking that o so yummy bite of a candy bar or french fries is just not worth it. i guess this means i have to go every morning so i can be good the rest of the day. yuck! i don't even sleep but i really want to sleep in now.

today i did a cycling class where i couldn't see how many calories i burned. i was tired though and my legs felt like jelly. so i know i got a good work out. i spent about 40 minutes in the class and then did my arms with weights and my 100 sit-ups. i am also doing this thing called core for three minutes, where you get up on your elbows and your toes and hold your body in a parallel position to the floor. it is hard, i could only hold it for 2 minutes and i fell. try it, it's hard.

Maybe you have found a cure for your menutengo disease! It's true, when I realize how long it takes me to work off X amount of calories, I think twice about that next candy bar!
