there are no excuses...


at 5:30 am for not going exercising. the only excuse is that i'm lazy. see, i think the problem is that i always said i didn't like to wake up early to go, and that i'd do it in the afternoon or evening, because i could make my schedule be around my exercise time. but the point is, i never did it. looking back i've been pondering why this is and for me, honestly, it is because there are no excuses or distractions in the morning. no one is up for me to talk to, go do something with, or any other excuse i've used over the last twenty years. yup i said 2-0, it's really been 20 years since i've exercised. it is really weird to verbalize it, but none the less true. i've joined many gyms over the years and never went. in my family we joke about my collection of $300-$600 sweatshirts, you know the ones you get when you join a gym, maybe some of you have a few. my favorite was "bodyfit" in provo, i always felt great wearing it (ha ha). i eventually gave it away so it would stop haunting me with it's constant guilt trip. anyway i went again this morning. hooray!

2 bran muffins
2 ounces of wheat grass
1 piece goetta
mixed salad with vinaigrette
2 pieces of french bread
1/2 piece halibut with bearnaise sauce
2 pieces of asparagus
1/2 piece mahi-mahi coconut crusted
2 small parsley boiled potatoes

37 minutes in the zone
