don't eat in your car, it's not safe...

for many reasons. first it's usually not a planned meal. second, mostly it's not very healthy, let alone satisfying. third, you're not taking time to enjoy your food, because you have to eat it fast and go. fourth, if you eat and drive, it's easy to get in an accident.

today i had a plan to eat at settabellos for lunch. i was going to have salad and a pizza, some of my favorites. but then as i drove in my car, past crossroads mall, i remembered there was a long john silvers there.

i love their add a piece chicken. i know it is fried, but it is my free day. i usually get one piece of chicken and some crispies. so in the heat of the moment, i decide to change plans and go there. i had no cash only debit/credit and the charge limit was $4.00. so usually my chicken is only $1.50 so i had to end up buying 2 pieces of chicken and 3 shrimps. they give you the crispies for free, but that really screwed up my plan. since i used to eat those in my childhood, the taste to me is a memory thing. not good. i ended up eating everything except for one shrimp. then i ended up driving to settabellos also, deciding to get a pizza & salad to take home for dinner now.

of course as soon as i smelled this yummy wonder, i couldn't help myself, so in my car i ate two pieces of pizza and a few forkfuls of salad. as i sat in my car i felt i had reverted back my old habits. i ended up going out to dinner and having pasta carbonara and ate just a little. it was horrible anyway.

came home and made chocolate molten lava cakes, only had a bite.
this morning i had a banana, apple, and nectarine during breakfast.

D use to work @ Long Johns in Buffalo during high school years, it is his FAVORITE - the childhood taste too I guess. That pizza looks wonderful, was it as good as NY? Is that the place by Bucca downtown? I have searched for it but can't find it.(for a website, that is, not driven there)
