so i went to a restaurant i love tonight called Em's. they have the best short rib. i was so longing for it. after i had it the first time, i learned how to make it. the problem is now, that the restaurant's version is never as good. i think mine has a lot more flavor. and it doesn't cost $20 bucks to boot. i guess someday i'll just have to invite you all over for short ribs, which are not like regular ribs, but more like a luxury pot roast.
the bread is to die for at Em's hard and crusty but really airy.
i had like 8 small pieces half with butter. i couldn't stop
i also had:
half of a cheddar & leek souffle (yummiest ever, got to learn how to make those)
a bite of scallops
a bite of gnocchi (made from riccota)
a bite of squash soup
a beet & orange salad
a short rib with creamed cabbage, green beans
2 bites of pistacho ice cream
1 bite of almond toffee ice cream
1 bite of chocolate pudding cake
36 minutes on treadmill around 300 calories
100 sit-ups
70 push-ups
160 ounces of water
for lunch
small chili from wendy's & plain baked potato
