i'm hot...


literally! yes, that is sweat
after my 5:00 a.m. exercise routine (stairmaster for 45 minutes 430 calories), i decided to try a bikram yoga class in sandy. the class is one and a half hours and it's 90 degrees in the room and the room seriously smells like a wet dog. i know, i'm such a dog lover. i was dripping sweat. it was seriously hot. and there are lots of rules., like no talking. i can see why people do this. it gives you a great workout and even if your not in shape or flexible you can still do it. it is very peaceful and calming and really about using all of your body to exercise. if you go bring 32 ounces of water, a towel for sweating, a mat to lay on and definitely nose plugs. oh sorry you can't plug your nose, because you have to inhale the smell deep into your lungs. i must say that after about 15 minutes you don't even smell it anymore, because all you can smell and taste is your own sweat.

today i ate
1 cup blueberries
4 pieces of goetta
1 nectarine
1 cup of grapes
asian chicken spicy salad with lime-vinaigrette
1/4 cup edamame
taco meat 8 ounces
8 peppermint shortbread chocolate covered candies
120 ounces of water
