two pounds up one pound down...


i feel like i'm a pawn in a chess-weight loss match with myself.

i keep eating, another bad weekend. a move in the wrong direction. but at least i exercised this morning, a move closer to capturing the king.

but i'm sure i gained at least two pounds the last two days. friday and saturday nights seem to really be a challenge. how do i cope with this? i haven't figured this one out yet. i really need to be strategic about planning my next move. i feel like my king is always under attack. checkmate.

in real chess, games do not have to end in checkmate, either player may resign if the situation looks hopeless. chess may also end in a tie. hopefully i can win at this game.

today i found a new snack costco granola snacks
they were really yummy and healthy.


no breakfast
i ate every sample at costco today for lunch
then i snacked granola mix 1/4 cup
handful of grapes
salad with manchego cheese & mango
chicken marsala with mushrooms
2 pieces of flatbread with hummus spread
au gratin potatos 1/2 cup

120 ounces of water

did stairmaster for 46 minutes average heart rate 121 415 calories
